Job Title: Systems Manager
JobDuties:
The role will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Establish and implement policies and proceduresfor information systems;
· Authorize the development of specifications forproducts or services;
· Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluatedaily operations;
· Meet with clients to discuss systemrequirements, specifications, costs and timelines
· Manage backup, securityand user help systems.
· Consult with users,management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and systemrequirements.
· Direct daily operationsof department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developingstandards and setting deadlines.
· Assign and review thework of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.
· Stay abreast of advancesin technology.
· Develop computerinformation resources, providing for data security and control, strategiccomputing, and disaster recovery.
· Review and approve allsystems charts and programs prior to their implementation.
· Evaluate theorganization’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such ashardware and software upgrades.
Educationand Professional Experience:
· Master’sDegree in computer science
· 3plus years of professional experience
