The Sr Manager, Marketing Planning will support the Brand and Integrated Marketing Team (BIM); which is comprised of Brand, Customer Base Management, Data & Analytics, Planning & Strategy, and Forecasting teams.

They will deliver an end to end planning process, and work to operationalize BIM to ensure efficiency across the team.

Additionally, they will facilitate achieving the team’s overall mandate and vision.

The candidate will report directly to the Director, Marketing.

What you will do:
– Managing a team of two direct reports (Promotions Manager and Marketing/Promotions Specialist), you will lead the development and expansion of our Events/Promotions function, working with cross-functional partners to provide value added marketing projects
– This position will collaborate with internal teams such as Merchandising, Content, Creative, Digital
– Oversee the briefing and development of all event/promotion assets and programs to ensure they ladder up to the overarching brand and marketing pillars
– Responsible for the overarching Events/Promotions strategy development
– Lead the development and execution of the long-term CSR strategy
– Ensure the flawless execution and management of all events/promotions
– Management and execution of third party partnership strategy
– PLCC marketing strategy, overseeing acquisition and retention programs, analysis and reporting
– Cross-functional team marketing lead for brand launches, vendor support
– Advise and oversee National Contest strategy
– Track all KPI’s
– Provide insights and narrative on weekly
– Facilitate Post Mortem exercise on Annual and Quarterly results, summarize lessons learned
– Support strategic assignments, ad-hoc programs and projects as required What you will bring:
– 7-10 years professional experience in marketing, and/or communications
– Ability to work with senior leaders in a high paced environment managing diverse activities
– Strong business, planning and program management acumen
– Proven success in managing and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
– Demonstrated track record of interacting with and influencing senior executives
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Highly organized and detail-oriented
– Ability to simplify complex topics and “tell the story” in a succinct manner
