You’re a proven Business to Business Sales Manager with hands on experience with Commercial Food Equipment and looking for a thriving, growing company where you can be part of the growth and development of an exciting new initiative.  We’re MVR Cash and Carry and we’re on the search for someone like you. Sales Manager – Commercial Food Equipment MVR Cash and Carry is a food wholesaler and food equipment supplier situated in the heart of Toronto serving restaurants, convenience stores, independent grocery chains, caterers, bakeries, distributors and non-profit organizations.  MVR Cash and Carry is a family owned and operated business that has become known as a “one stop shop” for many retailers and food establishments. The Sales Manager will report to the Commercial Food Equipment Manager and has hands-on experience selling and maintaining commercial food equipment. This opportunity is ideal for a far-sighted sales leader with forward thinking ideas who can develop a dynamic sales team.  The ideal candidate is a self starter who is ready to dive in and assist the department head develop this new initiative.  You have an energetic personality with a proven ability to negotiate and sell.  You are a problem solver who can provide creative solutions to our customers’ unique food equipment needs. This is a full-time position.  A competitive salary will commensurate with experience and health benefits are provided.    Responsibilities As the Sales Manager of the Food Equipment Division, you will oversee all aspects of the sales department including the following:* Work directly with the Restaurant Equipment Manager to implement the restaurant equipment division’s sales strategy;* Help achieve sales goals of new and used restaurant equipment, with support of your Sales Associates team;* Develop, train and motivate a sales team;* Solicit new business within territory with short and long-term growth targets;* Work with lease-to-own/ rental customers;* Prepare quotes and recommend products or services based on customer needs;* Oversee merchandizing of equipment within the showroom;* Strategic business analysis, marketing research, cost analysis and comparative draft reporting;* Sales policy drafting;* Warranty / Service Management with staff support;* Maintain sales and client logs / monthly sales reports,  buying reports and inventory management;* Co-coordinate with suppliers for product knowledge sessions;* Manage on-time delivery of equipment; and* Other projects and responsibilities to support the Restaurant Equipment Manager. Working at MRV Cash and Carry At MVR Cash and Carry you receive the benefit of working in a thriving business which continues to develop and expand.  Our store is in a central, easy to get to location with free parking.  As an employee you will be able to take advantage of discounts on our store items.  The store is open during regular business hours so here is no shift work.  We have a tight-knit culture and think you’ll love working here!  If you meet the qualifications below, we’d really like to hear from you. Qualifications * Post-secondary education with 1-3 years’ experience in an industrial/ commercial sales position.* Prior hands on experience with food equipment;* Awareness of lease-to-own/ rental program an asset;* Ability to initiate and maintain territorial activity via various methods of contact i.e. cold call, email, fax, mail outs;* Proficient in EXCEL / WORD (AQ is a plus).
