Position Description We are looking for an individual to lead our Professional Audio Video Practice in Canada.

This role will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to develop, drive and support our Pro A/V & UCC business across the country.

The Director of Sales will be part of a national team focused on driving and supporting Audio Video related business opportunities across Canada.

Working with our A/V Integrators, Manufacturer partners, developing new business, as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers will be some of the responsibilities.

The optimal candidate will have a broad skill set, with demonstrable career progression and a proven track record of delivering results.

The successful candidate will possess strong sales & team leadership, analytical acumen, superb business judgment and strategic negotiation skills.

You must understand competitive and industry landscapes, product commercialization and go-to-market strategies, and have the leadership presence and communication skills to effectively work with vendors at all levels of their organization.

– Deliver sales presentations within and without the organization as required Bringing to market and your team new products, solutions and brands Developing and leading a team of sales leaders Effectively and professionally service existing channel partners and systems integrators and growth the business into new channels and marketplaces Work closely with our Front line A/V subject matter specialists to support WESCO I Anixter sales people in region Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strongly preferred Track record of leading sales teams and delivering results 3 to 5 years selling into network environments, specifically Pro A/V or within the UCC / VC field is a plus Vendor relationship management
– proven experience in managing vendor relationships across a broad range of products and solutions Strategy Development experience
– Tailor and execute existing W|A Global Enterprise AV strategy; collaborate within matrix organization and vendors to deliver above market growth outcomes Team builder and Cultural carrier
– Experience bring discipline, rigor and professionalism to an organization Excellent verbal, written & presentation communication skills Results driven with excellent time management, organizational, and overall execution skills Regular national travel, periodic international travel Verbal fluency in French, while not mandatory, would be an asset.
