Global Training Manager, Products and Services Canada December 16, 2022 The Global Training Manager, Products and Services, provides technical and practical training for our service dealers, consulting engineers, sales representatives and the Armstrong sales team to ensure broad understanding of Armstrong’s Design Envelope solutions and best practices for an effective equipment selection, installation, start-up, service and maintenance.
This position is located in Toronto, with regular travel to locations in Canada and USA and occasional travel to Europe and MEA.
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are: Develop Training Content Create, manage, and maintain content for Tier 1-4 partner enablement training Create commercial training offers in ADEPT Work with the NPI teams to develop training material for new product and service offerings in preparation for launch Work with Marcom to design promotion campaign for Tier level training Work with Offering Mangers and the global service organization to develop offers that coalesce our global partner network into an Armstrong ecosystem Manage and work with Training Content Creator to develop relevant material, videos, guides and tutorials related to existing and upcoming training sessions.
Orchestrate a self-efficient training platform to deploy content worldwide to partners and internal personnel.
Assist on design, sourcing and managing of training equipment for hands on activities.
Deliver Training Organize and deliver training sessions for partners – online and in-person Work with regional service managers to ensure that capability matrix is up-to-date for each partner employee.
Manage Training Budget Develop, manage and report on annual training budget Execute Capex approvals for equipment required to deliver training sessions Own training budget and revenue targets Measure Results Develop and manage training KPIs leveraging tools like NPS Develop KPIs for training effectiveness and track progress Role Requirements University Degree in Engineering or related equivalent 5-10 years of experience working in the services environment Deep knowledge of Armstrong product and services offerings Experience developing and delivering training in a sales and service environment Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures) Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
