The opportunity Reporting to the Director, Platform Services we are adding a Functional Consultant, Atlassian Technologies to our team.

This is an opportunity to play a critical role engaging the senior leadership, software teams and end-users at our enterprise customers, to provide training, support and consulting allowing them to master the full value of their Atlassian suite.

We need a project manager, technical leader and relationship-builder who can take on the role of trusted advisor and subject matter expert to offer and roll out our end-to-end services, from defining an agile strategy to implementing and deploying solutions for optimizing our customer’s fully managed Atlassian environment on AWS.

You want to play an integral role using your expertise towards the development of high-quality solutions, including product selection, execution of test scenarios, and assessment of architectural requirements.

You will focus on: Coaching customers, delivering workshops and training on Agile practices, principles, roles, artifacts, and mechanics.

Consulting clients on solving functional issues with, adopting and configuring Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence, and complementary 3rd party products.

Designing customer workflows, schemes, agile boards, JQL filters and dashboards as needed for implementation.

You want to collaborate with leadership and various stakeholders to provide strategic insight into defining and improving service or solution features.

You want to take on the role of subject matter expert, nurturing customer relationships as you provide advice on solution customization and configuration options.

You want to apply and expand your technical expertise including professional certification in AWS, Atlassian, and Jenkins.

You want to focus on: Continuous Improvement: Ensuring all engineering materials are continuously improved and delivered with consistency so that the Managed Services organization can effectively and efficiently manage and maintain the deployment.

Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with cutting edge technologies impacting the solutions being deployed as well as learning new ways of delivering similar solutions.

What you bring Drive, collaboration and self-motivation.

You thrive on developing solutions to open-ended business problems.

You can work within a team and independently on multiple concurrent initiatives.

Expertise.

You have experience leading or coordinating organization and enterprise transformation initiatives.

You have expertise coaching stakeholders in crafting technology, processing landscape, and driving solution strategies.

You have advanced hands-on knowledge
– and preferably certification
– in JIRA, Confluence and Atlassian.

You have: 2 years of experience implementing and advocating for Agile transformation in an enterprise setting; and, leading teams towards adoption and improvement of current practices.

3 years soliciting and defining requirements from key stakeholders to map JIRA and Confluence workflows and administration.

Communication skills.

You have exceptional communication skills and an aptitude for developing relationships at the executive, engineering and operational levels throughout organizations.

You have the confidence to ask probing questions, articulate client requirements and translate into actionable technical specifications.

Consulting skills.

You have the ability to positively impact and influence the work of a project team; traveling to client sites when necessary.

The state of mind to grow into an influential, trusted advisor.

The ability to adapt to every client’s needs.

Scrum Master or project management experience would be considered an asset in this role.
