Job Description The TD Securities Chief Data Office (TDS-CDO) supports the overall vision of organizing data as a strategic asset to enable TD Securities to: Service our clients, monetize data and allocate financial resources objectively; Manage risk and regulatory compliance effectively, and; Achieve technology and operational efficiencies The TDS-CDO is made up of the following pillars, which supports the vision of being an established centre-of-excellence to prioritize, govern and monetize the strategic data assets of TD Securities: Strategy : Responsible for managing overall programs, budgets and communication Reference Data Management : Responsible for developing and enhancing the reference data strategy, including data master management Transaction & Market Data Management: Responsible for the tooling and onboarding of key data management programs in our Authoritative Data Sources, including metadata, lineage and data quality management Governance : Responsible for the overall policy management, stewardship and data usage across TD Securities Role Details: Reporting to the AVP of Transaction and Market Data in the Chief Data Office, the Business Information Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of TDS’ core data capabilities and execution for TDS Data Strategy.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated candidate who can think big, methodically engage interdisciplinary teams to deliver value for the franchise and identify monetization opportunities for data.

The role requires data expertise, business leadership and leads on day to day sourcing, data quality, organization, protection, distribution and analysis of data assets.

Requirements Job Accountabilities: Communicate the story of TD Securities data strategy and apply consistent messaging to articulate our value proposition and strategic priorities Own and develop communications strategies for TDS Data Strategy initiatives providing sound communication advice Strategic, compelling and clear content relevant to intended audiences using a variety of communications channels to effectively meet business objectives Lead, empower and form relationships with internal and external business partners to develop productive working relationships Demonstration of excellent judgment and ability to handle exciting priorities in tight timeframes Lead on the implementation of initiatives in support of the overall business/function strategy Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Keep current on emerging trends / developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques Strong writing and editing skills for written, spoken, and multimedia content for varied internal audiences Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail; naturally curious to understand business objectives and opportunities, and gain organizational awareness Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency Ability to independently navigate ambiguity and balance changing requirements and priorities in a fast-pace environment Proven record of strong written and oral communication and relationship building skills with employees at all levels of the organization Thrives in team and independent work settings; strong relationship management with multiple partners across various businesses Knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports Additional Information LI-POST Hours 37.5 Inclusiveness At TD, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
