ADMN O 24R – Senior Project Manager

Play a critical support role in designing and implementing new innovative service delivery processes.

The Integrated Health Services Planning and Systems branch will lead the planning, design, integration, coordination, and implementation of the key strategic areas of focus of the Pharmaceutical, Laboratory and Blood Services Management Strategy (PLBSMS) in alignment with the Ministry’s initiatives.

In collaboration with key stakeholders across the Province (ie.

PHSA, Health Authorities, etc.), the Project Management Office will lead improved integration of Health Services and systems (ie.

PharmaNet, and other systems) in response to the expanded Divisional mandate to: integrate formulary management, pharmacy services, evaluation of programs across the health sector, improve the continuum of care, and better manage provincial expenditures.

In this role you will guide and manage large scale projects with significant external impact, a range of internal and external stakeholders, multiple delivery components and significant assigned resources.

You will provide project management expertise and support to the Director, Planning and PMO and Project Leads across the division.

You will be accountable for defining and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality.

Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below: Degree in business administration, public administration, or other relevant field plus 2 years relevant experience OR a diploma in business administration, public administration, or other relevant field plus 4 years relevant experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Relevant Experience Must include all of the following: Experience independently managing projects of large-scale complexity and multiple delivery components across the health sector working with a wide range of stakeholders (incl.

Health Authorities, Regulators, Associations, Vendors, etc.) Experience in directing the work of contracted and/or staff resources, and leading others.

Experience in demonstrating effective writing and communication skills (e.g.

creating project management templates, guidelines or related documents, developing briefing and presentation materials, presenting information and recommendation to senior leadership etc.) Experience in providing strong analytical support (e.g.

development and management of databases and dashboards, conducting research, performing data analysis etc.) Experience with MS Office (e.g.

Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access etc.) and other programs/tools that support project management (e.g.

Visio, Power BI etc.) Preference may be given to applicants with a project management certification Applicants selected to move forward in the hiring process may be assessed on the Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies as outlined in the attached Job Profile located in the Additional Information section at the bottom of the posting.
