– Municipal.

This role is based in our Calgary office in and reports to the Sales Manager – Municipal Products, Southern Alberta.

You will use your experience, technical competence and customer service abilities to help build the reputation of IPEX among specifiers and relevant partners.

Principal Responsibilities Cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors, contractors and to develop a strong presence with major end-users will be instrumental for success as well as the ability to secure specifications at the engineering level.

These relationships are paramount as they will be a conduit for the voice of the customer which is the foundation to our business Submit innovative ideas to build new products that would contribute to our industry and our customers.

Increase IPEX brand awareness in the engineering community at industry functions such as tradeshows, seminars and association meetings Help develop education, case study’s, training and technical material for municipal products and present related presentations for engineers and relevant partners Assist the local engineering community with the development of codes and standards, product certification letters and deflection calculations to support IPEX products.

Track upcoming projects in and around the province to assist with forecasting and industry awareness.

Attend weekly / monthly sales meetings to provide Industry awareness, updates on projects and strategies Respond to product and service complaint reports within 24 hours of notification.

Collaborate with other IPEX Regional Sales Representatives for insight on changes to codes and standards and new products entering the industry Qualifications & Experience Completion of a University Degree or Diploma in Business or Engineering an asset Minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in sales and marketing activities within the construction or industrial industries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems A strong mechanical proficiency and understanding of value-selling Proven excellent communication and presentation skills The ability to work independently and as a team player with strong self-motivation Willingness for overnight travel.
