Sales Manager – 3PL Logistics and Supply Chain

Our client is a third party logistics (3PL) sales enterprise that operates in the multi-billion dollar logistics industry. They sell brokerage services to Fortune 500 Companies across North America specializing in the movements of perishable, fragile and just-in-time freight.

The Role: Sales Manager

  • Primarily responsible for nurturing, managing and directing an assigned Inside Sales team
  • The focus will be directed towards securing new clients, as well as maintaining existing accounts so that they meet or exceed sales performance goals.
  • Responsible for continuing to grow the sales team with extraordinary talent, using diligent recruiting activities
  • Work with Senior Management to improve their execution quality by helping set performance objectives, and developing strategic solutions to reach sales performance goals
  • Ensure delivery of results by effectively utilizing sales performance tracking data to plan and make strategic and operational choices and decision
  • Oversee the development of assigned inside Sales staff through effective coaching, feedback, training on policies and procedures, systems, services and selling skills
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce CRM utilization


  • Minimum 5 years of proven inside sales/account management leadership experience
  • Previous sales training experience
  • Strong selling, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and self-motivated to achieve results
  • Able to respond effectively to multiple priorities and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to inspire collaboration in his/her team
  • Proficient in MSOffice applications, including CRM software – preferably Salesforce
  • Business acumen and financial knowledge an asset
  • Confident decision maker
