Now, we want your help to do this, as our new Sales Development Representative. What you’ll be doing: To start, you’ll focus on lead generation for net new business – connecting with senior-level decision makers and qualifying prospects, with an ultimate goal of setting up meetings with them and our CEO/VP Sales. As you learn our business, you’ll have an opportunity to evolve your role – participating in face to face sales meetings with our CEO, and later, leading these meetings and closing deals yourself. Practically speaking, you will: * Research and identify potential customers (as well as work off of existing leads)* Do cold outreaches via phone and email, to connect with C-level/executive level decision makers* Present our general contracting service solutions to potential customers (e.g. renovations, new builds, maintenance, restorations, etc.)* Commit potential customers to meetings with our CEO/VP Sales* Work collaboratively with our management team to help formalize our sales process* Track your individual sales metrics – outreaches, appointments set, lead generation results, etc. As our first-ever Sales Development Representative, you’ll have the unique opportunity of working closely with our management team to shape our sales process and strategy from the ground up. This role is well suited for someone with B2B sales experience, who’s craving an opportunity to make a genuine impact on the long-term success of our sales organization. We’ll empower you to bring forward your sales strategies and processes and to share your ideas and perspective so that we can collaboratively build a winning strategy. The most successful candidate for this position will be influential and persuasive, and unafraid to pick up the phone, no matter who’s on the other end. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and you’ll also have full benefits and RRSP matching. You can expect occasional travel (10-15% of your time during your first year), mainly within the GTA. What Makes You an Ideal Candidate: In addition to strong B2B sales experience, our ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of general construction. Whether you’ve worked for a construction business in a similar sales role, or have been exposed to general contracting and construction elsewhere, this will be a good fit for you.  Here’s what we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a B2B sales development (or similar) role* Proven track record of success in growing revenue and customer acquisition* General construction management knowledge (familiarity with and understanding of basic construction concepts)* Familiarity with CRM and CRM practices* Sales training certification or similar training would be an asset* Valid driver’s license would be an asset How to Apply:Our online application gives you the chance to apply as more than just a resume.
