About the role We’re looking for someone to join our growing team as a Hybrid Claims Intake Representative in our Customer Service Center (CSC).

As a Hybrid Claims Intake Representative , your work will have a big impact on our Customers, by providing an effortless experience on every call; Indemnity, playing a crucial role in reducing leakage using Auto and Health Rely Programs and Your Peers, providing support on completing the initial details of the claim.

What you’ll do here: Answer internal and external clients’ calls/communication and conduct information searches to resolve issues Complete New Claim Report to initiate claim process for automobile damage and complete Intake Form for injuries Coordinate Initial Repair Process Sell Health Rely and connect the claimant with preferred clinic Complete and document inquiries received from claimants and provide information based on Intact’s standards and procedures in a courteous and respectful manner Assign claims to appropriate adjusters in the CSC and AB departments accordingly Consult, interpret, check and update various documents and data for various business lines, confirming accuracy and identifying issues or errors Document and direct inquiries and assignments to appropriate individual or unit Perform routine administrative functions such as file processing as directed by manager Qualifications What you bring to the table: Bilingualism (French/English) is a definite asset Sales and customer service experience preferred College Diploma or University Degree preferred High School Diploma required Client driven with excellent communication skills Committed to self-development Ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram form Ability to deal with and solve problems involving specific parameters in standardized situations Insurance experience would be considered an asset Willing to pursue your Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation Must be flexible to work shifts ranging from: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and statutory holidays Here are a few reasons why others have joined our team: An award-winning, inspiring workplace that supports its people and recognizes great work Stimulating, challenging projects and development opportunities to help you grow your skills and career A comprehensive financial rewards program that recognizes your success An extensive, flexible benefits package An industry leading Employee Share Purchase Plan where we match 50% of net shares purchased A $350 annual wellness account that promotes an active lifestyle Closing Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer At Intact, our value of Respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength, being inclusive and fostering collaboration.
