Client Service Specialist

Over 65 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations. Our team of 500 staff sees clients physically and virtually from our downtown Toronto location.

 

The Role:

Medcan is recruiting for an enthusiastic, well-spoken and client focused individual to join our internal sales team and develop into an outstanding ambassador for our services. This highly visible role contributes to the foundation of our core business. We are seeking a self-motivated and results oriented professional with great communication skills.

The Client Service Specialist role is responsible for booking Medcan’s Annual Health Assessment and for promoting our additional services.

This position also supports the operations of the clinic by:

  • Being responsible for the flow of patients for our flagship service – the Annual Health Assessment and is responsible for selling our additional services to new and existing clients
  • Coordinating with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service

This role is expected to maintain a pre-determined average # of sales per day and will be part of a high performance team of 16 agents. 

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year prior experience in an Internal Sales Rep position
  • High energy, self motivated, relentless attitude
  • Exemplary balance between providing an exceptional client experience and achieving sales requirements
  • Exceptional, persuasive English oral & written communication skills
  • Positive, upbeat and passionate personality
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills
  • Out of the box thinking, planning and execution of strategic calling initiatives
  • Self­ motivated but works well in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health or a related discipline

The role reports to the Director, Client Services. This position is full-time and is scheduled primarily during business hours Monday through Friday and rotational Saturday’s as-needed.
