Business Development Manager – Food Services – $19B Market Cap

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted February 9, 2018.

Our client is a leader in the food service and support service industries. They are one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, have over 25,000 employees across Canada, and bring in annual revenues of over $2 billion! They are looking to add a Director of Business Development to their team in the Toronto area who will be reporting to the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for selling food services and facilities management into the healthcare market (hospitals). This is a hunting role, but you will get a healthy pipeline in the beginning. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, which includes RFP’s for government regulated clients. It is a solution based sale and as such, you will be working closely with each client to figure out the best system for them.

About the Role – Regional Sales Director:

  • Identifying, qualifying, capturing and closing new business complex solutions
  • HUNTING net new clients in the Healthcare industry
  • Drive all phases of the sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification through closing the sale
  • Leveraging the operations team to construct a fully customizable solution
  • West coast territory  

About You:

  • Have 4+ years of B2B sales quota-carrying experience
  • Have to be a HUNTER
  • Must have solution-selling and value-based selling experience
  • Must have sold into Public Sector Healthcare (Ex: Hospital’s, HLN’s, etc) 
  • Ideally have experience selling into the C-Level of Healthcare organizations
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Need to be able to create the best solution for each client
