Business Development Manager – Digital Marketing Solutions

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 20, 2017.

Company Overview:

  • Privately held company with a footprint in Canada, US, and Europe.
  • Products/Services Offered: search marketing, presence management, performance display, strategic consulting, social media consulting, etc.
  • Selling into: c-suite, VP Marketing, Director’s of Marketing 
  • Our client is looking to bring on 2 Business Development Managers, one in Toronto and one in Vancouver.

About the Role: Business Development Manager

  • Responsible for selling digital marketing services to prospects across a specific geographical territory. 
  • Identify, prospect, and develop business opportunities with net new clients – 100% business development focused.
  • Manage the sales cycle from end to end: prospect through to close.
  • Engage with c-suite executives both over the phone and in person to present solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated B2B sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape with some exposure or overlap with digital experience (i.e. agency experience, brand experience, etc.). 
  • Hunter: must have a go-getter mentality and aggressive sales approach. 
  • Polished, articulate, and able to run successful presentations for a panel of c-suite executives.

Compensation:

  • $60-75k Base, Total Earnings $90k +
