Job title :PROJECT LEAD, MASS IMMUNIZATION Community :KAMLOOPS Facility :KAMLOOPS S CENTRAL HEALTH Status :TERM SPECIFIC FULL TIME Position Summary Looking to make a difference and work with an incredible team?

Join us as Project Lead, Mass Immunization.

This is a temporary position for approximately six months.

The Project Lead, COVID-19 Mass Immunization, works with internal and external stakeholders and contractor resources to plan and implement COVID-19 Mass Immunization clinics in multiple municipalities across IH.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Develops project plan to ensure COVID-19 Mass Immunization clinics are planned and implemented in each municipality of IH.

2.

Coordinates project tasks as required: Identifies resource requirements, identifies project milestones and deliverables, ensures appropriate authorizations, and procurement etc.

3.

Ensures all logistical components are completed i.e.

rental of venues, equipment, and supplies etc.

4.

Liaises with internal stakeholders i.e.

medical health officer, program managers, Workplace Health and Safety, Immunization program leads, etc.

to ensure plans meets project priorities.

5.

Collaborates with external stakeholders i.e.

municipal leaders, physicians, aboriginal partners, seniors groups etc.

as required, to ensure mass immunization planning meets population needs.

6.

Ensures all details such as lease agreements, contracts, permits etc.

are completed efficiently.

7.

Ensures all safety plans, safety inspections and Violence Risk assessments, crowd gathering mitigation plans are completed, as needed for each site.

8.

Facilitates evaluation of mass clinic operational efficiencies and incorporates improvements as required 9.

Coordinates on-site workforce i.e.

security, volunteer engagement and scheduling 10.

Coordinates and tracks education and certification requirements in regard to COVID vaccine administration and scheduling of Interior Health Non-Public Health Nurses (Peer Immunizers) and community immunizers 11.

Supports community based immunization sites i.e.

Universities, Seniors Independent housing, Shelters etc.

12.

Prepares reports, briefing notes, and communication plans, as needed.

13.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Graduation from a recognized degree program in a clinical discipline such as nursing or allied health.

• Five years of recent, related experience
• Project management experience an asset
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
