Project Control Lead Services Operations

We are seeking a talented, versatile, and experienced Project Control Lead to support the Services Operations and Project Management teams in order to drive operational excellence in Services Project Governance and Delivery.

The PCL is accountable for maintaining and improving upon the key financial and performance metrics through analysis and Portfolio performance monitoring.

In this role you will be the key liaison with the Finance, Sales, and PMO teams.

What you’ll do: Responsible for maintaining and improving upon FinancialForce key performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards in order to meet the changing needs of the business and improve customer satisfaction; Accountable for maintaining and improving processes around projects and cost recognition, billing, revenue planning, resource assignment & utilization; Oversee the management of exceptions related to project delivery & financials, PS engagement profit and cost analysis; highlight irregularities and other potential issues; Work with internal stakeholders to increase productivity by utilizing the automated applications within the Salesforce platform and other business technologies; Partner with stakeholders to onboard newly acquired Lines of Business or acquisitions to ensure associated processes are integrated into the PSA system; Assist with strategic deals to develop pricing structures, terms and financial recognition; Participate in the creation and maintenance of report packages for all levels of management; Monitor actual vs.

planed variances; provide forecasts and trend analysis as well as any recommended remediation action items to management; Work closely with Project Managers to review project health, financials and forecasts to maintain portfolio targets and customer satisfaction; Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Operation Runbook, including but not limited to processes, workflows, month end calendars etc.; Partner with Professional Services on initiatives to improve business workflow not limited to Services Operations.

What you need to succeed: Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Business or an IT related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of project management and administration Two (2) or more years’ experience working with professional services Experience in project accounting or financials an asset Understanding of project management life cycle including project financials; PMP an asset Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate details and impacts of complex business problems Who we are: CDW is a leading technology solutions provider to business, government, education and healthcare organizations in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
