Position: Product OwnerLocation: WFH during Covid-19Status: FreelanceEstimated Duration: 2 months (likely extension)Starts: SeptemberRate: Up to $55/hour DOEJob Description:Our retail client is looking for Product Owners to join their team for 2 months starting in September
– likely extension and possible full time for the right candidate.As the Product Owner you will be responsible for identifying, defining, and designing solutions to improve the customer experience through the introduction of new features and functionalities.What you’ll be doing as the Product Owner:
– Defining the functional scope of numerous CX enhancements; introducing new features and functionalities and improving existing ecommerce features.

– Liaising with merchants, creative, copy, IT, QA and stakeholders to reach consensus on specifications for new features and functionalities.

– Researching and recommending ‘best practices’ based on competitive analysis for different projects.

– Collaborating with the UX Team to define and run usability tests.

– Partnering with stakeholders to create user stories and specifications for projects.

– Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are on schedule and meeting functional and design specs.
– Participating in design, development, QA, and UAT cycles.

– Measuring and tracking project performance; providing post-launch results analysis.Skills and Experience:
– 4 years of experience in ecomm or digital environment.
– 3 years of experience creating scope documents, functional business requirement specs and use cases.

– 2 years of experience in UAT, usability testing, and A/B testing methodologies.

– Strong retail ecommerce landscape, including ‘best practice’ features and functionalities.

– Proficient with Optimizely, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookKnowledge of site analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics.If this sounds like you, please get in touch with your resume.
