Like you, we care deeply about making a positive environmental impact.Our team is currently in search for a new Lead Waste Auditor – someone eager to make an impact, drive results and be part of a small team with a true family feel.That’s where you come in. As our new Lead Waste Auditor, you will take the lead in producing waste audits for our municipal, institutional, and commercial clients across Toronto and York Region. You’ll lead a team of technicians, in the field, to collect, assess, and categorize samples. Following the fieldwork (which will take roughly about 25% of your time, depending on the scope of the audit), you’ll work independently (either from our office or remotely from home) to compile waste audit data and produce reports for our clients. The best person for this role is a natural leader, with exceptional time management and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. Your work will play a crucial role in helping our clients maximize their recycling potential. We take pride in being a company where you can build a career long-term. This is a full-time 2-year contract position, with strong possibility to extend for four years based on our upcoming client requirements. When you’re not in the field, you’ll have the option to work remotely, or out of our Toronto office, just a few minutes’ walk from Davisville subway station. You’ll work Monday-Friday, with local travel required to various waste audit sites around Toronto and York Region. If you don’t have a vehicle, you’ll be provided with a company vehicle for daily travel. We’re offering a competitive starting salary, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits. Qualifications * Experience leading at least five (5) waste audits for municipalities* Additional experience conducting audits for commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors is an asset* Basic to intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word* Valid G driver’s license* Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related environmental discipline How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
