Job Description The IT Helpdesk Specialist role is responsible for providing day-to-day helpdesk support including all Level 1 escalations, problems & requests for our Cineplex ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing: Provides first level IT Support for Hardware & Software issues across all Cineplex LOB’s.

Utilizes Helpdesk application to triage and manage all inbound incidents – prioritizing and assessing urgency to incidents as necessary; personally, resolving issues that can be handled by Level 1 staff and handling escalated, more complex issues from other staff as required.

Field incoming help requests from end-users via multi-channel environment (Phone, IM, Email, etc.) in a courteous manner Identify, diagnose, and resolve level one & two problems for users of the software and hardware, LAN and WAN, VPN, the Internet and new computer/Exhibition/LBE technology; communicate solutions to end-users Proactively monitor and support components of the Cineplex Systems Infrastructure.

Performs break/fix hardware support as required Job Requirements: Qualifications What You Will Need: Experience with MS Vista POS Software or general retail POS systems would be a significant asset 1-3 years of IT related Help Desk Support Customer service experience demonstrating application functionality Demonstrated work experience in a Desktop Support capacity is expected Strong experience with MS Office support is expected Experience with Windows and MAC is expected Experience with Ubuntu Linux is an advantage A degree in a relevant area of study with a preference for Computer Science/Information Technology together with demonstrated operational systems and network related experience.

Industry certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, MCITP, and/or A certification ITIL V3 Certificate in IT Service Management Abilities Needed: Make decisions and recommendations requiring analysis and interpretation within established procedures Must be proficient with Window Operating Systems, MS office, and support tools.

Must be able to handle multiple priorities and manage available resources accordingly in a fast-paced environment Must be available for shift work including evenings, weekends & Holidays 24/7/365 Additional Information Interested applicants, please apply today.
