Engineering Business Coordinator

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted January 3, 2022.

Agilus is recruiting for an Engineering Business Coordinator in the Oil and Gas Industry in Corunna, Ontario.

The Engineering Business Coordinator works closely with the Engineering, Technology, and Execution Departments to facilitate the financial planning, risk evaluation, and competitive delivery of work scopes coming from various work streams.

Enables Steering Teams, Production Teams, Disciplines and Leadership Teams to successfully manage portfolio demand, risk and financial spend.

As well as provides the Execution organization with an outlook of future activities.

Accountabilities: Facilitating the financial planning of Manage Threats and Opportunities (MTO) items through Fit4MTO with threat/opportunity owners Support site steering teams, production teams, and disciplines with portfolio demands, risks and financial evaluations for the selection of what and when to execute items.

Includes infrastructure and obsolesce planning (AHM) Oversee the overall in-year capital spending and forecasting, bringing challenge to investment proposals and capital spending Ownership and coordination of developing and maintaining the 10 -year capital / revex plans Assembly and routing of capital investment proposals Coordination and overseeing third party spend with engineering contractors Performing competitiveness evaluations of engineering initiatives/opportunities Site focal point for Business improvement initiatives in FIT4MTO Requirements: Project management, business management or leadership experience involving business case development and budget governance Technical background and knowledge associated with asset integrity assessments and evaluations High performing individual, with strong networking and influencing skills, along with strong analytical skills, sound business judgement with the ability to present or challenge items Well organized with ability to work in high ambiguity environments and simplify complexity.

Comfortable in dealing with multiple competing priorities on short-, medium
– and longer-term timeline Proven track record in delivering results
– unwilling to accept the status quo and perceived wisdom, continuously seeking to drive more value Ability to combine high-level strategic thinking with a pragmatic, value focused operational approach Drive and challenge production teams for least technical solutions to mitigate threats and opportunities Interface with the multiple key stakeholders including: Engineering, production, projects, maintenance and Economics and Scheduling Total rewards: Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay (Covid) Safety protocol 6 month contract with potential for extension Interested?
