Digital Production Specialist

Home Depot of Canada Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted January 3, 2022.

Position Purpose: The Digital Production Specialist will be responsible for contributing ideas and will be responsible for the execution of full funnel interactive and creative initiatives designed for all of The Home Depot social media channels and digital display ads.

This person will report into the Digital Production Manager.

They will work closely with internal marketing teams and external creative agencies and will be in charge of coordinating the execution of multiple initiatives against aggressive schedules.

This person will work across functional groups to gather campaign information and assets, relay said information through the form of a brief, and will be responsible for coordinating the production and delivery of campaigns that support key divisional business priorities.

There will be a strong focus on maintaining an omni-channel continuity of campaign messaging and marketing strategy while delivering strong and engaging channel specific initiatives which support both the campaign requirements and channel specific KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have some background in Social Media and Digital ad campaign marketing and production with an up-to-date knowledge of platform capabilities and innovation.

This person will juggle a high-volume of projects on an ongoing basis.

They must also have strong organizational and memorization skills, and experience in a deadline driven production environment.

Position Responsibilities: Collaborate the Planning team, Media team, Marketing team, Advertising team, eComm team and Agency partner on a daily basis to ensure all campaign details and timelines are thoroughly understood.

Coordinate initiatives throughout the full production lifecycle including the writing of production briefs, delivery of creative assets to support production, distribution of proofing rounds and maintenance of deadlines to ensure all projects run smoothly and on schedule from start to finish.

Ensure all key stakeholders thoroughly review all proofs and provide their feedback and approvals prior to live dates.

Review creative and provide a thoughtful and critical eye from the POV of the customer and the business while also considering the purpose of the initiative and where the customer is on their path to purchase journey when they view said creative.

This includes also having a clear understanding of the click through online experience as well.

Refer to other channels to ensure consistency of campaign look and feel, strategy and messaging between the other channels and social media channels.

Identify industry trends and opportunities, recommend creative testing initiatives to continually improve and drive learnings within the channel.

Participate in and drive process enhancements for the channel.

Balance multiple projects with minimal supervision and be accountable to deadlines.

Other duties as required Knowledge/Experience Required: Internal Candidates: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M Meets Expectations) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job would be an asset Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience with a strong comprehension of social media marketing and digital ads Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Minimum of 2 years project management experience in digital retail related projects Ability to build strong relationships and effectively contribute on cross-functional teams Works well in a team environment Driven and organized self -starter with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, schedule demands, and complete required project work on time Experience developing work back schedules, risk management and mitigation plans, scope definitions, progress reports Ability to take ownership of and participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance, by understanding and ensuring business requirements, test scenarios and implementation requirements Superb problem solver and solution oriented Excels in a fast-paced environment with highly interactive processes Excellent planning skills, highly organized and detailed person Excellent written and oral communication skills Will have some knowledge in budget allocation and media buying within the social media platform
