Make an impact with our Event Planning team as a Corporate Event Planner (Hourly Contract Position).

Responsibilities Manage and execute internal events Identify overarching agendas, programs and experiences required to support strategy and overall event objectives and propose plan to leadership Organize event logistics such as booking locations, vendor sourcing and management, project plan management, organize and ship necessary displays and identify other assets needed to drive effective events Act as the consultant for all event production and management including audio/visual, internet, mobile applications, registration, housing, space allocation, etc.

Manage a vendor team and suppliers from initial briefing through on-site execution, oversee external relationships and collaborate closely with Regional Managing Partners, Service Line Leads, Operations and Human Capital Maintain vendor and contractor lists, as well as negotiate and execute on contracts with vendors Enable, create, and execute communication and activation plans such as event rundowns, including scripting, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

for scheduled events Plan and manage event deliveries, set ups and tear downs, transportation, create and organize gift bags, print materials, signage, order relevant décor and schedule support to ensure events are property staffed Establish budget of related firm events, track comprehensive event metrics and ROI for reporting and analysis post event Maintain flexibility to work evenings and weekends Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary Skills and Experience Post-secondary education in business, communications or event planning CMP designation is considered an asset 2 to 4 years of event industry experience, within a professional services environment is preferred Valid driver’s license and a car is required MyRewardsMNP More than a paycheque, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards for our team members.
