The Donnelly Centre, Faculty of Medicine University of Toronto JOB POSTING
– POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW Area of Research: Molecular Biology, Global gene regulation and Signal transduction, Systems biology, Functional genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics and Computational biology Description of duties : To perform scientific research in a Donnelly Faculty members’ laboratory that tackle big questions in molecular biology.

Specifically, duties include performing hands on experiments, data analysis, preparation of manuscripts and presenting the work at meetings and conferences.

Selected candidate will also present annual progress reports to the Director of the Donnelly Centre and will present their work at the Best Foundation board meeting.

Salary : Commensurate with experience and in accordance with the collective agreement Required qualifications: Our ideal candidate is a highly qualified graduate (2 years or less post PhD) in the fields of molecular biology, genetics or genomics.

– Dec 2021 FTE : 100% The normal hours of work are 40 hours per week for a full-time postdoctoral fellow (pro-rated for those holding a partial appointment) recognizing that the needs of the employee’s research and training and the needs of the supervisor’s research program may require flexibility in the performance of the employee’s duties and hours of work.

Employment as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto is covered by the terms of the CUPE 3902 Unit 5 Collective Agreement.
