Business Analyst I

Telus Communications Company

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted June 11, 2021.

Position Overview: This client facing role of Business Analyst I is required in a fast paced team environment where we are managing multiple projects and client requirements on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate must be a strong creative and analytical thinker with strong documentation and planning skills and enjoy daily interaction with external clients.

Responsibilities: Provide relevant, comprehensive responses to client inquiries and requests Work with the other business analysts to design simple solutions in order to solve complex business problems Implement approved solutions according timelines Gather and document business requirements Actively participate in project team meetings Define, recommend and build opportunities to automate existing systems processes Participate at regular Client Support meetings Support Card Production activities and implementations as assigned by Card Production Lead Required Knowledge: Knowledge of claim adjudication principles – Pharmacy Benefit Management experience is an asset Proven ability to collect requirements and document business processes and client requirements Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Data analysis and reporting Required Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly developed personal planning and organisational skills Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change Strong analytical problem identification, and problem solving skills Strong customer focus Experience analysing and reporting on performance and utilisation data Capable and willing learner who proactively researches solutions to business challenges Working knowledge of MS suite of applications (e.g.

Excel, Visio, MS Access, Powerpoint) Fluent in French an asset Required Professional Designation/Certification: University Degree or related College Diploma in Health Science, Computer Science or Business/Commerce Required Experience: 2-3 years in comparable role 1-2 years client facing experience Previous Pharmacy Benefit Management experience an asset A bit about us Our business is connecting Canadians.
