Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an operational audit program to ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures
  • Interpret and communicate audit findings in writing
  • Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of quality standards
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Plan, conduct and monitor audit testing to support observations and opinions
  • Complete audit score sheets and present them to Manager, Quality Assurance
  • Review and draft quality assurance policies and procedures when needed in conjunction with the Manager, Quality Assurance
  • Develop and recommend preventive and corrective actions to managementIdentify and communicate staff training needs to ensure quality standards to the Manager, Quality Assurance
  • Assist and cooperate with QA Manager in the development of QA department projects
  • From time to time support QA team by processing call monitoring or training
  • Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to conduct and interpret statistical analyses
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
  • Post secondary education is an asset
