Assistant Product Manager On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for an Assistant Product Manager.

Assistant Product Manager – Job Description Support the profitable growth of the AMG business Direct, prepare and perform diverse analysis to identify desirable segments for potential corporate group clients Direct, prepare and perform diverse analysis to identify appropriate pricing opportunities for the Affinity Market Group business (in conjunction with the Rating team and regional GI Product partners) Develop and monitor monthly reporting and analysis on Affinity initiatives Develop, maintain and enhance analytical tools and reporting to be used by stakeholders from various departments; Use advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and recommend standards against which others will operate Analyze and communicate with Finance & external corporate clients, the quarterly results of the rate of the contact persons for all AMG with regards to Actuarial Issues (Corporate & Rating), such as Affinity discount inquiries, customer questions, adhoc requests from the Affinity relationship management team, etc.; Lead analytics to establish and maintain criteria to qualify acceptable new groups within desirable segments; Participate in the approval of new potential groups presented by the Affinity Market Group to Corporate Underwriting; Participate in cross-functional teams such as AMG, marketing, legal and operations on key projects and initiatives that aim at improving AMG sales objectives and increase group penetration; Support the development and maintenance of controls, policies and procedures for the actuarial function related to group business: Be involved in the analysis and implementation of best practices, risk mitigation, risk controls as well as process, policy and procedures for the actuarial function related to group business (i.e., group discounts) in conjunction with the Rating team; Contribute to the implementation of approved price changes related to groups Group discounts: Ensure that each change is implemented correctly and according to the approved procedures (compliance risk) Assistant Product Manager – Mandatory Skills 2-4 years’ Analyst/Actuarial exp.

within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance (i.e.

Risk mgt.

within home & auto, vs.

life & health insurance) 5 actuarial exams completed or equivalent actuarial/analytical knowledge Experience conducting product research, product analysis & development Experience using analytical software tools, data analysis methods & reporting techniques Proficient Excel, Visual Basic, SAS Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or similar analytical major Assistant Product Manager – Nice to Have Skills Highly developed, proactive problem solving and analytical skills Balance between technical skills and business understanding Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities Highly adaptable for having discussions with different stakeholders in terms of expertise, training and hierarchical position Autonomous and perseverant; ability to show initiative and creativity through work Excellent communication and presentation skills Fosters team spirit and projects a professional image Assistant Product Manager
