Account Executive – A&D High end wall coverings


This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted July 20, 2019.

Employment : Permanent of Openings : 2 Classification : Sales & Marketing Industry:Sales and Marketing Account Executive Talentcor Professional has partnered with an industry leading distributor of commercial interior / architectural products.

We are seeking an Account Executive to join the existing sales team to grow commercial accounts in their assigned territory.

This position will have a core focus on prospecting and generating new business.

The successful candidate would also be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion in collaboration with the design, project coordination, logistics, and installation teams.

The office is located in SouthWest Toronto/Etobicoke area but you would ideally be on the road most of the time client facing.

This position would be a great fit for individuals with a background in A&D Sales as it encompasses technical product sales, project management, generating tender submittals, and strategic selling.

Key clients would be in Interior Design, Commercial Real Estate, General construction, as well as Commercial end users.

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who will be reporting to the National Contract Sales Manager.

This role will be a critical member of the sales team operating in the Grater Toronto Area.

Your focus will be to build customer relationships to increase sales revenue while prospecting for new sales opportunities with the intent on achieving sales initiatives.

Responsible for tracking and following up on leads and quotes while managing development of assigned territories.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Prospecting Attend various industry functions during and after business hours Prospect new business opportunities within assigned territory and market accounts You will target potential new revenue opportunities for the purpose of building a pipeline to aid in reaching your sales quotas Established relationships/Contacts within some or all above-noted vertical markets Cultivating new opportunities with in new market segments for our architectural products Sales Develop specifications and direct business sales Establish our client as the preferred vendor of choice for national accounts within the listed commercial marketplace Conduct formal presentations to various sizes and types of audiences Assess and close business opportunities Sell a wide range of contract architectural solutions that would include acoustic solutions, vinyl, upholstery/drapery and many other commercial oriented products Administration Prompt reporting on deliverables: sales notes, Business Development and tracking reports Assist with the implementation and delivery of new sales strategies Travel Travel across the GTA to prospect new clients and meet with existing customers SKILLS A minimum of 2-5 years selling experience in the commercial marketplace, with established contacts within the above described vertical markets Highly Motivated and pro-active individual with a drive to succeed.

Demonstrated ability to prospect and close in a competitive business environment Experienced at project management and presentation skills Excellent account base and territory management Ability to negotiate at all levels Exceptional English and or French verbal and written communication skills General knowledge of the industry and who our competitors are Proficient in excel, word and PowerPoint High degree of initiative and proactivity.

Ability to anticipate and take charge to bring about a desired outcome Thrive on multi-tasking with competing priorities, self-reliant, quick thinker while managing quick turn-around times Customer focused, a high level of customer service orientation is a must Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills, High degree of professionalism.

The ability to learn the various product offerings and understand how to position relevance within each account Someone who understands a consultative approach to selling QUALIFICATIONS Proven track record in territory sales growth Fluent in English and or French is a must Strong literacy skills in reading/writing, numeracy and technology Specification field sales experience, ideally with a background in interior-related products such as flooring, wall coverings and/or soft furnishing goods etc.
