Senior Workplace Consultant

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted August 28, 2018.

CBRE’s Workplace Strategy team is comprised of real estate strategists, architects, designers, financial analysts, change managers, and generally interesting thinkers. We work to make the experience of going to work better for our clients. As our team expands, we are looking for individuals with a passion in research, solving challenging problems and creating innovative solutions. Position Overview This position will be responsible for leading and supporting the successful delivery of workplace strategy consulting engagements to a wide range of corporate and institutional clients. The activities commensurate with this position include:

  • Acting as an engagement manager or supporting an engagement manager on client projects
  • Leading components of onsite research activities
  • Analyzing data from research including employee surveys and observation studies
  • Conducting research from internal and external sources
  • Supporting the development of client communications and change management plans
  • Contributing to recommendations and final deliverables
  • Traveling to client sites across the Canada (up to 50% at peak periods)

Job Requirements & Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of work experience in the field of real estate, design or workplace and occupancy consulting
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret a range of business and real estate documents
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort in translating large data sets into compelling findings
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort communicating ideas to clients and team members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to take on new responsibilities
  • Team-player attitude
  • Strong listening, facilitation and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently upon receiving direction from others
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Word & Excel
  • Experience working with other software preferred (e.g., AutoCAD, InDesign, Adobe, PowerPoint)
