Senior Java Engineer

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted May 23, 2020.

Toronto’s largest and well diversified investment houses in private equity, public markets and infrastructure is looking to hire a full time Sr.

Java Engineer on their product development team.

You will be building new products whilst also enhancing existing product lines and will be working with some of the latest technologies in the market.

This project is quite heavily micro-services driven, so experience in Spring Boot is a necessity.

Required Skills Experience 4 Years of experience on Java, currently on Java 8 or higher Must have built micro-services with Spring boot from scratch 2 years of experience with Spring boot micro-services Strong experience in building APIs with Rest Experience with GCP or any cloud platform Able to easily identify and solve problems Must be effective at communication and collaborating with the team Desired Skills Experience Knowledge or experience with Docker containerization Any experience or knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus Knowledge or experience with ReactJS and NodeJS is a plus University degree in Computer Science is required What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 90 JavaSpring boot micro-services 10 React, NodeJS Task Breakdown 80 Hands On 20 Team Collaboration The Offer Competitive Salary Up to 120,000year, DOE Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis now and in the future.
