One of our well-established telecommunication clients is looking for a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Consultant Length: 12 months renewable assignment Location: Toronto, ON Job Profile: This role will be very hands on in working with the team to identify the current landscape of Digital, areas of opportunity for improvement, identifying and working with the proper internal stakeholders -identifying how we are currently represented, creating metrics to measure our growth as a BU, and implement new ideas and changes to the organization.

Any training or Coaching experience is considered a huge plus, as this role will be very hands on in working with the Diversity and Inclusion/Anti-Racism teams at Digital and working very closely with the leadership team on new initiatives.

Essential Duties:
– Nurture Intact D&I vision by providing insights and coaching as well as data, analytics and content
– Drive D&I initiatives and action plans as well as develop resources and tools to advance D&I goals across borders
– Support employee relations as well as initiatives geared to under-represented talent and mental health that promote diversity and inclusion at Intact
– Partner with HR, Corporate Communications and our Employee Networks to operationalized, communicate and promote our efforts
– Benchmark best practices and collect/analyze organizational metrics to identify opportunities to strengthening D&I across Intact
– Support and enable Intact Employee Networks and oversee the inception and growth of new networks
– Network with external companies and partners to stay current with best practices that will help drive new programs, enhancements and initiatives
– Coach and advise the Leadership Team to embed more equitable practices and behaviours
– Work with diverse teams that are focused on anti-oppression efforts to mobilize action across different levels of the organization (e.g.

Anti-Racism Working Group, Resource Groups)
– Establish and maintain an internal audit and reporting system to allow for effective measurement of progress to build transparency and accountability
– Advocate for and elevate underrepresented groups in the workplace (e.g.

Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, LGBTQ, Persons with Disabilities)
– Experience as an anti-oppression educator and facilitator Must Have/ Qualifications
– 5 or more years experience in D&I with a solid understanding of principles and best practices
– Experience leading projects and change management
– Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills to build impactful presentations for business and HR audiences
– An aptitude to aggregate and validate data and develop insights for business stakeholders
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– An inspiring team player with a collaborative working style
