To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com Job Description What you’ll be doing You’ll be joining CIBC’s CCT-Enterprise Data Automation and Operations technology.

You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems.

As an Application Consultant, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience across.

You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

How you’ll succeed Design and development
– Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities.

Design the application’s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.

Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Strategic planning
– Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals.

Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

Leadership skills
– Act as the development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals.

Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Who you are You have more than 5 years experience overall in IT and at least 3 years in Informatica You have experience in Informatica version 9.1 and above.

You are familiar with the following concepts
– source, target, transformation, mapplet, mapping Designer, Workflow definition, Workflow monitoring and Repository Manager You have good working experience in the following: Unix/Linux OS and related shell scripts (korn, shell, etc) SQL and RDMS databases like Oracle, SQL server Data source like RDMS, ascii flat, ebcdic, xml into target tables/files Programming languages like Java, C# Autosys scheduler or other job scheduler Preparing Functional and technical documentation.
