Recruiter/Talent Sourcing Partner – 1 year contract opportunity

This role is flexible – 100% remote or hybrid working arrangement.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and back-office support services to Canadian-based brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.-based firms.

What You Will Do:

The Recruiter/Talent Sourcing Partner will report to the Director Talent Acquisition and partner with Recruitment Consultants to build a strong talent pipeline, especially for top skills and niche roles for Fidelity Canada, with a strong focus on technology talent. While generating quality leads through the execution of a proactive and targeted sourcing strategy, the Talent Sourcing Partner will create a funnel of qualified screened prospects. This role will also perform the recruiter role, depending on level of staffing volumes.

  • Create and execute a targeted sourcing plan to proactively source strong candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, events, etc.)
  • Plan, organize, and execute recruiting events such as information sessions, networking events, and interviews. Develops strong relationships with members of associations and groups, focusing on a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Conducts market specific research to ensure that recruitment efforts are deployed (associations, campus, organizations, competitive insight). Research and analyze market intelligence to educate Recruiters and Hiring teams on the talent landscape. Has a strong updated database of pipeline of candidates to draw from.
  • Based on staffing volumes, performs role of recruiter and is responsible for managing the full cycle of the internal and external recruiting process

What We Are Looking For:

  • University degree in a related discipline
  • 3 or more years of experience as a recruiter or talent sourcing experience in an employment agency or in corporate in-house talent acquisition team. Technology sourcing and/or technology recruitment experience required.
  • Experience in financial services or technology firms is an asset.
