One of our government clients is looking for a Procurement Project Manager (RFQ, RFI, RFPs, Vendor Management) Length: Contract term is 1 year with a possibility of extension Location: Toronto, ON (Remote work is in place during COVID-19, but can change to onsite at the discretion) Position Summary The successful candidate will be required to manage several SOWS; including, service and construction.

They will need to have strong procurement experience and be able to: Read contracts, and engage with vendors.

They will be consulting and advising a number of parties.

Responsibilities
– Manage the administration of existing contracts
– Manage the execution of Service Requests for new services from vendors
– Manage the processing of project & contract change requests
– Manage the overall change process including obtaining vendor quotations and facilitating the required approvals
– Support project managers in the development of procurement documentation (RFQ, RFI, RFPs, etc.) including writing content and providing financial information Must Have
– Experience supporting the development of RFQ, RFI, RFPs, including writing content and providing financial information
– Project management
– Vendor management Nice to Have
– Public Sector experience.

– PMI Skills
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
– Ability to identify issues and managing risks for large complex enterprise wide projects
– Experience managing and coordinating project change requests that impact 3rd party vendors
– Ability to develop RFQ, RFI, RFPs, including writing content and providing financial information
– Leadership and teambuilding experience, managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders that have varying needs, requirements and objectives
– Experience managing executive relationships and dealing with senior executives across multiple organizations
– At least 5 years of experience
– Financial education and/or certifications desired but not mandatory EVALUATION CRITERIA Project Management
– Demonstrated project management experience on complex and technical projects
– Demonstrated experience identifying issues and managing risks for large complex enterprise wide projects
– Experience managing and coordinating project change requests that impact 3rd party vendors Financial Management
– Extensive knowledge and experience managing detailed project financials and financial reporting on budgets, forecasts, expenditures
– Experience in multi-year business financial planning, business cases/modelling, cost management, cost benefit analysis, KPI tracking and reporting
– Experience writing business cases, briefing notes, and developing presentations for an Vendor, Procurement, and Contract Management
– Experience providing oversight on integrated plans to ensure the successful delivery of 3rd party vendor contracts
– Experience managing vendor commitments to ensure contractual obligations are met
– Experience interfacing directly with vendor leads on coordinating overall activities and contractual commitments
– Experience managing inter dependencies related to key contract deliverables
– Experience supporting the development of RFQ, RFI, RFPs, including writing content and providing financial information Relationship Management
– Solid experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
– Leadership and team building experience, managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders that have varying needs, requirements and objectives
– Experience managing executive relationships and dealing with senior executives across multiple organizations
