Online Experience (UX) Analyst

Position Purpose

As a leader in the home improvement industry, we understand that Digital is crucial to the overall customer journey, so over the past few years, our e-commerce team has grown rapidly in order to build and maintain a world-class user experience.

Here’s where you come in! We are seeking an Online Experience (UX) Analyst that will help us develop best-in-class user experiences on Reporting to the Online Experience (UX) Lead, you will conduct research and establish industry benchmarks, do competitive analysis, plan A/B and user testing, analyze/interpret data to make recommendations, and manage their implementation from beginning-to-end. For this role, the successful candidate must always have the customer in mind and enjoy a fast-paced environment that requires them to juggle competing demands on a daily basis.

  • Analyse and interpret multiple sets of data to garner user behaviour insights
  • Examine key competitors and best-in class online retailers to identify new areas of opportunity and understand emerging trends
  • Analyse user or A/B test results and incorporate those learnings into recommendations
  • Work with the Online Experience (UX) Lead to build innovative user experience strategies and present them to cross-functional groups
  • Translate digital strategies for the UX design teams
  • Work with the product team to build requirements and launch new site functionality or improve existing
  • Work with in-house experts to optimize for SEO

Experience / Knowledge Required:

  • Internal Candidates: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+, Meets Expectations and Consistently Demonstrates)
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, UX and/or as an analyst an asset
  • Strong excel skills and an aptitude for analytics 
  • The ability to develop insights and take action
  • Solid problem solving skills 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and competing requests
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • The ability to understand cross-functional goals and objectives
  • High comfort level with working independently
  • Previous experience working with Adobe Omniture or Adhoc an asset
  • Self-starter and results oriented 
  • Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 – 3 Years
