Ecommerce Data Quality Analyst – Toronto

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted May 20, 2018.


Under the direction of the Supervisor, Ecommerce Data Optimization, the Ecommerce Data Quality Analyst will support data quality improvement activities for Home Depot.CA.

The Ecommerce Data Quality Analyst is responsible for; maintaining online data standards, producing regular and timely data quality status reports, tracking data quality performance, and providing recommendations on internal process improvements. The Ecommerce Data Quality Analyst will be required to gather and articulate data issues with cross-functional stakeholders and teams that span across multiple Ecommerce business units.

Responsibilities:30% Review, analyse and validate product catalog data quality against online data standards.30% Works with cross-functional teams to create processes and documentation that will be implemented as data governance standards in order to improve online data quality.20% Oversees and reports on data quality initiatives maintained by the digital content management offshore team. 10% Prepares reporting and presents on the effectiveness of Data Quality, showcasing online categories and articles that have been optimized through this initiative.10% Trouble shoot and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise.Experience / Knowledge Required:Internal Candidates: Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+, Meets expectation, Consistently demonstrates).The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree/diploma program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job is required SAP and/or PIM (Product Information Management) software experience preferred3-5 years of Retail Industry Experience requiredSystematic approach to problem solvingStrong multi-tasking and organization skills with the ability to flex and remain objectiveWell-developed project management skills including exceptional attention to detailStrong communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organizationAbility to manage difficult situations with calm, patience and respectStrong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities & manage time effectivelyFamiliar with website technologies is an asset (Hybris, AEM)
