Consultant Relations Manager

What You Will Do:

The Consultant Relations Manager reports to VP Consultant Relations and is responsible for providing day to day support for the Consultant Relations Team. You will be responsible, in partnership with the other individuals of the Consultant Relations team, for managing analyst relationships. You will work with all areas of Fidelity to deliver prompt, high quality services while identifying and managing the team and the consultant requests.

Core responsibilities include:

Ensuring consultant/analyst satisfaction:

  • Attain high level of consultant satisfaction for all requests by ensuring responding to ad hoc requests, supporting consultant operational due diligence materials, research meeting support and day to day relationship management needs are met.

Proactively enhancing consultant/analysts’ relationships by anticipating consultant needs through coordination of communication (both internal & external), marketing projects, management information reporting and other ad hoc requests

  • Support the consultant relations team on Salesforce CRM, internal information reporting, internal communications
  • Work with internal teams to assist the Consultant Relations team in preparing materials for the cross sell of Fidelity products and services to consultants
  • Coordinate with internal teams to execute on product tours and annual due diligences. 
  • Provide business updates, marketing materials and regular performance updates to consultants and respond to queries
  • Keep junior consultants/ analysts informed of the status of Fidelity mandates by effectively assimilating and dissemination information from different Fidelity groups around the world.
  • Periodically consult with the internal contacts and implement changes to improve the status of the consultant’s perception of Fidelity’s relationships.
  • Work with the RFP/Database team to ensure the quality of data and narratives on major consultant databases and guide competitive analysis output.
  • Identify operational redundancies, develop a transition plan, and implement services strategies to improve service to consultants.
  • Active management of salesforce – maintenance of contacts, meeting notes, dashboard

Cultivating relationships with the junior analysts and junior consultants through phone conversations or meetings:

  • Meet with junior analysts/consultants to educate them on Fidelity products and services, to better anticipate upcoming search activity or client terminations.
  • Resolve consultant issues independently by utilizing the resources available within the Fidelity organization.

Managing OCIO data requests from OCIO consultants:

  • Send quarterly and monthly reporting to OCIO providers
  • Coordinate the completion of quarterly DDQs

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry
  • Completion of bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of CFA is an asset.

  • Able to adapt to a wide range of required tasks

Given the current circumstances, employee will be working from home, 100% of time. As working conditions return to normal, they will have a hybrid working arrangement.
