Human Resources Staffing Manager – Toronto, ON – CH2M

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted May 13, 2018.

Support the Transit & Rail division and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.
As a Human Resources Staffing Manager, you’ll have the chance to lead Consulting Resourcing, Career Development, and Staff Optimization for a large team of consultants on a major infrastructure program.
You will act as a consultant to Program Leadership on resources issues, coach staff, and be a visible Leader on the Program.
Working with other members of the team, you’ll work with functional leaders to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, protocols, and instructions, appropriate use of all mandated projects tools, assign staff to projects, and performance management.
During your time with us, you will manage, coach, and support skill and career development for aligned staff through the Program, across projects, and the home base organization, ensure succession plans are in place for individuals in key roles and recommends hiring and re-deployment of staff in coordination with others, as well as provide consultant resource management and oversea talent engagement of aligned staff, engage with client with regards to resource management and staff optimization, ensure approval of time and expenses for aligned staff, If you’re up for the challenge, we’ve been looking for someone just like you.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• Bachelors in HR, or related discipline.

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in a (infrastructure) consulting environment.

• Strong understanding of Oracle, Microsoft Office, and Program Management.
