This is the job you’ve been looking for In your role you’ll provide comprehensive HR support to the business leadership of the British Columbia market, as well as be a key member of the Canada HR Team, with additional responsibilities for a number of nationwide projects.

Plus, this position serves as liaison to specialist areas including employee development and training, staff selection, compensation, benefits and working alongside Talent Acquisition Manager and other supporting HRBP’s.

Now check out the bullet points below and then apply asap Responsibilities: Support leaders across multiple functions on workforce planning, recruitment, talent assessment, career coaching, individual development plan enhancement, situation investigations, and other projects as needed Work in partnership with the business to provide expertise in area that include interviewing and selection, employee transition planning, staff planning, employee relations, terminations, and other employee and business-related actions as required while providing top notch customer service and support.

Coordinate and execute as necessary HR administrative Deliver key HR strategies and programs for assigned client groups (e.g.

performance management via Talent Link, annual HR planning, succession planning, recognition and rewards and bench marking for your markets.) Partner with Centers of Excellence in areas of Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Management on best practices and serve as initial point of contact to answer questions from employees & leaders.

Qualifications Education: Bachelors 4 year degree (CPHR is an asset) Experience: 3-5 years in one or more functional areas of Human Resources (Generalist preferred) Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, Oracle, Strong facilitation skills, negotiation skills, Easily adapts to changing environment and can work effectively in a virtual Strong communication, project management, conflict resolution, coaching, and consultative Ability to influence others, think strategically, and initiate Thorough understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures, as well as legal framework including federal and provincial legislation, as well as Employment Standards, Human Rights Tribunals, and mediation processes.

Willing to travel substantially across geographic areas of responsibility, as well as possible travel to the Vancouver area store support Weekly store visits are required to offer best level of customer service.

This will include your involvement at Career Fairs, making connections within your local community colleges and surrounding communities.
