Our client at OfficeTeam is looking for a collaborative Human Resource Business Partner for their team who will maintain and administer their HR policies and procedures.

This Human Resource Business Partner is a full-time opportunity in Toronto, Ontario area with a global leader in the cannabis industry.

The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Collaborate with clients to ensure smooth administration of performance, compensation, records management, training and development, retention, and employee relations Act as a front-line HR representative on-site Direct employees with leave and disability programs.

Ensure compliance with employment standards and other legal requirements Plan and coordinate on-site initiatives and training events Assist in research, advancement and implementation of HR policies and procedures Create development plans and Corrective Action Plans (CAP) in consultation with stakeholder departments Ensure positive customer service by recommending progressive discipline in collaboration with client area manager.

The key qualifications required for this role are: A relevant post-secondary education in the field More than 5 years?

experience performing similar duties Candidates with a background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Pharmaceuticals desired A Chartered Human Resources Profession (CPHR) designation is an asset Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task, plan and organize Strong inter-personal, communication and presentational skills In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
