Clinic Flow Coordinator

Over 65 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations. Our team of 500 staff see clients physically and virtually from our downtown Toronto location.

The Role:

Medcan is recruiting for a Clinic Flow Coordinator. The position requires high energy and enthusiasm, an appreciation for detail, an outstanding level of client service and exceptional organizational skills. The role is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the flow of clients through the clinic during their Annual Health Assessment.

Here are the main accountabilities of the role:

  • Manage client’s day as they move from station to station during their Annual Health Assessment
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure the client’s visit is productive and effective with exceptional service delivery
  • Welcome and greet clients, guide clients throughout their visit and check clients in and out of each of their Annual Health Assessment stations
  • Ensure clients receive maximum value time during their visit
  • Ensure compliance with all service metrics
  • Respond to client issues and enquiries
  • Foster client loyalty by creating a memorable experience
  • Handle client issues in a positive and professional manner
  • Problem solve in a fast paced environment

The Requirements:

  • Prior experience in similar role
  • 2-4 years healthcare experience
  • Education in health or a related discipline is an asset
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level in MS Office

This is a 1 year contract role scheduled for 5 days per week during business hours Monday-Saturday. Our clinic hours of operation are from 6:30am to 7:00pm Monday-Saturday. Shifts are scheduled for 8 ½ hours and may vary based on our client and operational flow. The role reports to the Director- Clinic Operations and Client Service and is part of a team of 10 staff.
