Speech Language Pathologist – Casual – Rehab Services – Multi Site

This is what you’ll be doing: Assessment, treatment and consultation services for dysphagia and communication disorders to a mixed adult population which includes neurology, medical, surgical, ICU and geriatric clients on our multiple acute medical units, complex continuing care units and rehabilitation.

Coverage in outpatients as needed.

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and registered with the college of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.

Swallowing assessment skills including video fluoroscopic studies are essential.

Excellent Organization, Time Management and Communication Skills Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Flexible to meet the changing demands of a mixed caseload and the two sites.

1-2 years experience in assessment & treatment of dysphagia Satisfactory employment and attendance record The ideal candidate is strong in patient centred care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.

We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
