Pharmacy Assistant in Oshawa Great Opportunity

A pharmacy in Oshawa is looking to hire a motivated full time Pharmacy Assistant who is available to start ASAP!

The Pharmacy has recently found themselves needing an experienced Kroll technician to carry some of the work load. They are looking for someone who is willing to grow with the Pharmacy team. The owner places high value on their staff and are committed to providing both the staff and customers with a wonderful experience. This is a great opportunity for a detail oriented, hardworking professional who is looking to start a career as a Lead Pharmacy Assistant with a pharmacy starting a fresh, new chapter.

Candidate is required to have experience using the Delta pharmacy system and must be available to work rotating shifts. The pharmacy is open from Monday- Sunday, from 8 AM to 10PM.

Candidate will be receiving up to $16/hour depending on experience with a 2 week paid vacation.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescriptions and products
  • Ensure company standard operating procedures, policies, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions.
  • Upkeep and maintain records on the computer, including daily and weekly data backup.


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer/patient satisfaction orientation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment with a tight deadline
  • Experience with Kroll computer system is an asset
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Minimum of 1 paid year of working experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
