This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted May 31, 2021.

Our client is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to assist in improvement plans on multiple physical security access system enhancements.

Initially 12-month contract with chance of extension.

Work remotely during COVID-19.

Must have: 2 years experience as an IT Business Analyst in enterprise environments Process improvement experience Nice to have: Experience with physical security access controls system (such as SureSite) and compliance management systems Public sector or utilities industry experiences Project Details: This IT BA will work on multiple Suresite (physical security access system) enhancements as part of the NERC program and assist in improvement plans.

2/3rd of the role is process work and 1/3rd will be Tier III user support.

Reponsibilities: Produce high quality documentation such as Governance documents, Process Impact Assessments, Process Maps and Designs and follow through on deliverables with stakeholder reviews, approvals and sign-offs so that projects are implemented safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Liaise with internal and external teams / vendors on data migration and system interface activities to ensure dependencies are understood, addressed, and requirements are correctly communicated and recorded using documents such as Business Requirements, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, Data Requirements, Business Scenarios and Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Functional Specifications, and User Interface Specifications.

Assist with testing, including creation of test documentation such as Test Plans, Test Scenarios/Scripts and Test Reports to ensure that the business requirements are met.

Provide ongoing clarification and support to the user experience, development, training, and testing teams to ensure correct interpretation of the business requirements and process design and to contribute to their success.

Assist the Project Manager with planning activities for subsequent phases of the project; assist the Change Management/Training Lead with communications, stakeholder analysis, change management approach, training, and roll-out activities; contribute to the successful transition to sustainment teams; document meeting outcomes in meeting minutes to enable timely completion of project tasks.
