POSTING DATE: June 1, 2021 POSTING 324-21 (ONA) EXPIRY DATE: June 8, 2021 HURON PERTH HEALTHCARE ALLIANCE NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: REGISTERED NURSE Primary Site: Stratford
– Critical Care (Intensive Care) Regular Part-time x2 REPORTS TO: Manager, Intensive Care Unit, Telemetry/ISU and Cardiorespiratory
– Stratford DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible SALARY: $33.90 to $48.53 per hour QUALIFICATIONS:
– Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario EXPERIENCE:
– Recent/related clinical experience (minimum two years) in Critical Care Nursing and Cardiac Care Nursing
– Recent/related courses, in-services in Critical Care Nursing and Cardiac Care Nursing SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
– Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
– Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as a team member
– Ability to engage patient and family partners in patient education related to the Critical Care setting
– Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
– Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications REQUIRED SKILLS:
– Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course, or equivalent (current experience)
– Recent 12 lead ECG interpretation course, or equivalent (current experience)
– Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
– Pacemaker Management
– Ventilator Management
– Haemodynamic Monitoring PREFERRED SKILLS:
– Recognized Critical Care Certificate
