Every day nearly 45,000 people use our ERP & CRM technology to make the world a better place.Now, we’re looking for a new Technical Support Developer to join our fast-paced SaaS environment during an exciting phase in our growth, and we hope that search ends with you.SummaryAs the Support Technical Consultant, you will be playing a key role in identifying and resolving any technical issues reported by Sparkrock customers or internal users related to the NAV/Business Central product and other integrated systems. You will be using a variety of different technologies, including but not limited to:* Microsoft Dynamics NAV: C/Side Platform (CAL)* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: AL platform* Web technologies: Azure, OData, RESTful API, Angular, JavascriptAs a member of the Support team, you are expected to continuously improve your technical and business knowledge as it applies to Sparkrock’s products and services. Your contribution to the team is integral to ensuring that Sparkrock continues to deliver quality solutions to our customers and partners.Duties & Responsibilities* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application problems* Create and package minor and hot fix releases* Adhere to Sparkrock coding standards and test-driven development practices* Participate in code reviews* Participate in the innovation of efficient development practices* Work and share knowledge with members of the development and operations teams* Analyze code quality problems and recommend product innovations* Help analyze, execute, and streamline DevOps practices* Automate processes using the right tools (e.g. PowerShell, Azure DevOps)* Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields* 2+ years of experience in coding business-oriented software* Proficient in the Software Test Life Cycle* Hands-on user experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset* Creating tests using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Automated Testing Toolkit is an asset* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills* Proficient in SQL database analysis using SQL-based queries is an asset* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Docker is an asset* Experience with Powershell modules related to NAV/BC* Experience with Azure DevOps and GIT source code management is an assetQualificationsEducation* Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related fieldsWork Experience* 2+ years of experience in coding business-oriented softwareKnowledge* Proficient in the Software Test Life Cycle* Hands-on user experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset* Creating tests using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Automated Testing Toolkit is an asset* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills* Proficient in SQL database analysis using SQL-based queries is an asset* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Docker is an asset* Experience with Powershell modules related to NAV/BC* Experience with Azure DevOps and GIT source code management is an assetHow to ApplyOur online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
