Dynamic Construction offers a full range of construction services from initial design to project completion. We produce a high end quality of  commercial custom made cabinets and are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team!

Skills and Abilities:

It is essential to have a good experience in this field. Being creative and focused with numbers is very important as well.

  • Good eyesight to select woods and look for surface imperfections
  • Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexteritythe strength, stamina
  • Ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift items weighing in excess of 5 kilograms
  • The ability to visualize a finished product from drawings, blueprints or other specifications.
  • Self motived, work independently, engage with team members and clientientle 
  • Verbal and written communication, good workl ethic, critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal/teamwork skills



  • Sets up as well as operates variety of woodworking machines plus uses various hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets.
  • Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired plus plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed.
  • Assemble custom cabinets according to specification/blue print
  • Marks outline or dimensions of parts on paper or sheet goods stock, according to blueprint or drawing specifications
  • Sets up as well as operates woodworking machines, like power saws, jointer, mortiser, planer also sharper, to cut shape parts from Woodstock.
  • Own hand tools/equipment/steel toed safety boots/safely glasess
  • Capable of standing for extended period of times and bending
  • Strong attention to detail is important
  • Trims component parts of joints to make sure snug fit, using hand tools, like planes, chisels, or wood files. Sand wooden surfaces, apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to fininished product
  • Prepare apply veneers, metal laminates and solid surfaces
  • Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels by hand or using boring machine.
  • Glues, fits, and also clamps parts subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine
  • Drives nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints.
  • Sands as well as scrapes surfaces joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing.
  • May repair high-grade articles of cabinetry, may dip, brush, or spray assembled articles with protective or decorative materials, like stain, varnish, or paint.
  • May install hardware, like hinges, catches, and also drawer pulls.
  • May repair furniture, equipment, and also fixtures be designated cabinetmaker, maintenance (woodworking)
  • May cut, shape, and also assemble wooden parts to construct frames
  • May lift cabinetry products that weigh in excess of 10 to 100 lbs in daily basis.
  • Free from allergies to dust.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • May also perform other duties assigned by the project coordinator.
  • Have experience installing cabinets with close attention to details during installation
  • Installation work is completed within allottled time constraints under supervisors direction
  • Ability to travel around the GTA and out of town
  • Have a valid drivers licence
