Construction Project Manager

Timber Block

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted October 13, 2021.

Here we grow again We are searching for motivated team player with on-site construction and project management experience who will ensure outstanding custom home building experiences.

Reporting to the Construction Division Manager, you will oversee all projects initializing in sales and transitioning to construction as required.

This includes maintaining the highest levels of quality, understanding permitting and all aspects of pre permit approvals such as variances.

Your role will also involve engaging suppliers and sourcing materials, while administering and managing multiple pieces of information and reporting to all departments towards maximum productivity.

What are we expecting you to do Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and clients to ensure proper organization of all prospective and active projects.

Develop, implement, and maintain systems to ensure a smooth transition from sales to construction.

Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the transition between departments.

Develop and maintain all processes regarding permitting.

Develop and understand the processes necessary to construct a Timberblock structure.

Our perfect new member must Possess a minimum of 5 years in Construction with a background in project management Understand the Planning and permitting phases of construction Possess 2 years’ proven experience in an operations management position Have experience in business administration, or any related field (an asset) Demonstrate strong budget development and oversight skills Demonstrate strong problem prevention and customer service skills.

Have excellent time, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Embrace challenges and enjoy a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Be highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes Have knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Why Timber Block?
