If you’re looking for work as a File Clerk, this position is an excellent opportunity The File Clerk will be performing various basic clerical tasks, including managing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment, and completing general office work.

If you’re looking for a short-term temporary File Clerk role in the Toronto, Ontario area, this is the perfect job for you.

What you get to do every day
– According to specified guidelines, order high volume of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents
– Give utmost attention to quality control to ensure proper document filing
– Liaise with departments and employees as part of gathering and indexing materials for filing
– Help employees complete diverse projects as necessary
– Faxing, archiving, scanning, filing, and word processing
– Intake of questions regarding records and files
– Using allotted time frames, retrieve data
– Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
– Demonstrated ability handling office equipment
– Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
– MS Outlook experience desired
– Foundational knowledge in switchboard phones from 10 -30 lines
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word
– navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience required
– Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
– Strong time management and organizational skills
– Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
– Basic computer skills, including Excel
