Coordinator, Mental Health


This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted December 12, 2018.

The Role:

We are actively recruiting for a Coordinator to join our Mental Health team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience in an administrative function in the field of mental health and exceptional communication and client service skills. The Coordinator will provide administrative support to our clinicians, conduct testing, as well as results communication and external referral coordination to our clients. The role works closely with a small team of mental health practitioners to provide timely communication of results and follow up care to the client.

The majority of this role involves face-to-face patient interaction on the day of their client visit. It also involves telephone communication with clients.

The Accountabilities:

  • Administer and oversee testing testing of the memory and cognition testing to all Annual Health Assessment clients
  • Support the Mental Health team in the reporting and communication or results to clients
  • Arrange and coordinate follow-up appointments with external clinics and specialists
  • Schedule and manage practitioners’ virtual appointments
  • Coordinate with the Mental Health team to ensure exceptional delivery of service for all clients

The Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an administrative function
  • 3 years in the field of mental health and/or wellness
  • Superior communication skills – verbal, written and electronic
  • Intermediate to advanced level in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Great organization and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to work within a large team
  • Monitor and facilitate the flow of patients through the Clinic
  • Ability to work with a variety of client populations

This is a full-time role scheduled primarily during business hours Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays may be required on rotation. The role reports to the Director, Products.
